Nicola Roberts has mentioned that she had to endure surgery while 22 weeks pregnant so as to “keep the baby in”. The 40-year-old expectant mom shared the main points of her pregnancy on social media as she took medical doctors’ recommendation to relaxation throughout her third trimester.

Back in January, the singer had to pull out of her West End show ahead of a small surgical procedure, but the reason for the operation was not shared. She was starring as Persephone in Hadestown.
Taking to social media, Nicola expressed: “I’m so unhappy and disenchanted to have to share this information with you all. Today I’ve learnt that I’ve to endure a small surgical process and have been knowledgeable by my physician that because of this I shall be unable to full my closing week of Hadestown reveals. Everything is okay.”
She went on: “I’m heartbroken I will not get to share the stage with my unbelievable solid who I like dearly and carry out for the passionate Hadestown audiences I’ve had the privilege to get to know over these final 5 months.
“I have adored playing the role of Persephone, it has been a dream come true and I’m so upset not to be able to fulfil my final week and to leave the show without a proper goodbye.
“I’m so sorry to anybody who had organised journeys and booked tickets for my final week. This is totally out of my management and actually I’ve to observe my physician’s directions. Sending love to everybody, thanks to your continued assist and understanding.”
Nicola, who has been having fun with The Real Housewives while on mattress relaxation, introduced she was anticipating her first little one with fiance Mitch Hahn, 37, on Christmas Day.
