Surprise! CBS has a brand new NCIS spinoff sequence coming this fall.
NCIS: New York will welcome again LL Cool J as NCIS Agent Sam Hanna, as he returns to his hometown of New York City to their area workplace, partnering with a roguish agent (Scott Caan) and serving to lead a brand new crew as they’re tasked with high-stakes missions to defend some of the important cities and ports on the planet.
The sequence will air on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m., in between the flagship sequence NCIS at 8 p.m. and NCIS: Origins at 10 p.m. NCIS: Sydney will be a part of the lineup in midseason, changing NCIS: Origins.
The pilot episode hails from The Pitt creator R. Scott Gemmill, in a reteaming with LL Cool J. Gemmill was the showrunner of NCIS: Los Angeles for seven seasons and wrote on all 14 seasons. NCIS: Los Angeles is the sequence on which the rapper and actor started his NCIS journey. Byron Balasco, creator, govt producer, and author of the Audience Network sequence Kingdom, will showrun NCIS: New York.
NCIS: Los Angeles ran from 2009 to 2023, centered across the high-stakes world of a division of NCIS that’s charged with apprehending harmful and elusive criminals, who pose a risk to the nation’s safety. It additionally starred Chris O’Donnell, Medalion Rahimi, Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Barrett Foa, and Renée Felice Smith.
For anybody who can’t wait to see the brand new sequence within the fall, LL Cool J will seem on two upcoming NCIS episodes on April 21 and 28.
