Reacting to the information of Burrow’s demise, Craige Richardson, director of estates and amenities at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, stated: “We are really sorry to hear the news about Geoff Burrow.
“Geoff performed an enormous function within the improvement of the brand new Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease.
“He came to every stakeholder and development meeting over the two years, and he championed all the work taking place to build the centre.
“He had a lot power and enthusiasm to assist create a legacy for Rob and assist the MND neighborhood.”
Richardson added that it was “a big second to share Geoff and Irene’s first view of the brand new centre when it opened”.
“He liked it and he was extremely proud. That will stick with us all,” he stated.
“His ardour for analysis and to discover a treatment for MND is one thing we’ll proceed as a belief, because the centre progresses its first analysis tasks this 12 months.
“Our thoughts are with Irene and the entire Burrow family.”
