Kearns mentioned she was grateful to Dr Blackadder-Weinstein for urging her to go to the hospital.

“I used to be not desirous to go, as a result of there’s nothing worse than clearly going to a hospital, however they most likely saved my life as a result of I had sepsis, and whereas having that, I wasn’t even eager about the sepsis. It was: I’ve misplaced my youngster – and Liam was most likely pondering the identical.”
Kearns has visited Villa’s training ground to see her team-mates and work on rebuilding her fitness, but said she is still dealing with the mental trauma.
