Fiona Dolman has opened up about working alongside her Midsomer Murders co-star Neil Dudgeon, who portrays her on-screen husband, DCI John Barnaby.
Fiona, 56, options in a repeated episode of Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh this Sunday, the place she discusses the long-lasting ITV homicide thriller collection at size after taking part in the position of Sarah Barnaby for 15 years.
Host Alan, 77, remarked in the course of the repeated episode, which initially aired in 2022: “There is clearly a great rapport with you and Neil [Dudgeon], you clearly get on with one another!”.
To which Fiona responded: “Yeah! We got on from, I think, day one really, he is a fantastically good actor, and he is great fun to work with.

“There is an actual naughtiness, and we’ll talk about how we’re going to do one thing, after which he’ll simply toss something barely completely different.
“So we have a lot of fun playing them, but obviously it is 10 years, and you don’t get that a lot as an actor, so it means that we sort of fall into that role of being that old married couple.
“You do barely bicker, and I’ll get a script by the put up, and I’ll learn it, and I can, I chortle as a result of I can see what he’s going to do or how he’s going to say one thing!”
