WAYNE ROONEY has made a shock plea for Ronnie O’Sullivan to be given a knighthood.

And O’Sullivan has an enormous fan in former England captain Rooney, who has issued a request for King Charles to reward the potter.
Speaking on The Wayne Rooney Show, he mentioned: “In my opinion, he must be Sir Ronnie O’Sullivan.
“He must be knighted. He ought to, perhaps [it is] as a result of he’s controversial.
