The body of a person believed to have by chance fallen from a railroad bridge in New Hampshire Saturday night time has been found, police stated Sunday.
Jeremiah Willey, a 25-year-old from Allenstown, fell into the Merrimack River on a bridge in Hooksett, close to Riverside and Main streets, about 7:08 p.m., in accordance with state police. A witness noticed him making an attempt to maintain his head above the water, however he went underneath throughout his battle and did not resurface.
State and native search and rescue groups searched the river on the water, the riverbanks and from the air till late Saturday, then resumed Sunday morning. A dive workforce found and recovered the body after about an hour of looking out, in accordance with police.
