Detectives are looking a person who critically injured one other man, punching and knocking him unconscious following a World Darts Championship match in north London.
The sufferer, who’s in his twenties, was assaulted outdoors Alexandra Palace on 13 December and remains to be affected by “significant injuries” seven months later, police mentioned.
The suspect is believed to have been amongst a gaggle of males who attended the darts event dressed in lobster costumes.
The Met Police has launched a CCTV picture taken on the venue in the hope of tracing the person and jogging the reminiscence of any witnesses.
The sufferer was leaving Alexandra Palace at about 16:30 GMT when he encountered the group of males in costume.
He grew to become concerned in an argument with them and so they had been separated by safety workers.
Soon afterwards, the sufferer bumped into the group once more on the venue’s concourse and one of many males punched him, knocking him out.
He later reported the incident to the Met.
Det Con Lizzie Coster, who’s main the investigation, mentioned: “Our thoughts are with the victim in this case, and we hope the best for his recovery.
“This assault occurred outdoors at a serious sporting occasion, and the suspect was sporting a particular costume.
“We are releasing a CCTV image of the suspect in the hope that it will jog the memory of attendees, or anyone else who was in the area at the time.”
