‘OBSOLETE’ contactless cost models at public bogs in a North Yorkshire city centre are set to get replaced.
Contactless cost models at two public conveniences in Whitby are set to get replaced by the city council at a price of greater than £1,600.
Whitby Town Council stated that the prevailing 2G/3G models have gotten out of date and require upgrading to make sure continued operation.

Members had been suggested that Danfo (UK) Ltd had offered a citation of £1,653.78 (+VAT) to put in new 4G-enabled models.
At the total assembly, councillors voted to approve the quote acquired from Danfo (UK) Ltd for the alternative of contactless cost models on the Market Place and Abbey public comfort websites at a complete value of £1,653.78.
At the start of March, councillors additionally voted to approve the appointment of Engineering Installations Teesside Ltd to undertake the Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) on the city council’s six public comfort websites at a complete value of £4,096.00 in accordance with the submitted citation.
