Madrid set for ‘Estadio Shakira’

Colombian singer Shakira has introduced plans to conclude her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour with a residency at a specifically developed momentary stadium in Madrid.

Shakira hasn’t carried out a full live performance in Spain since her El Dorado world tour again in 2018 and has set out plans to set new landmarks after this month breaking the attendance file at Mexico City’s Zócalo.

More than 400,000 followers had been drawn to a free live performance on the public sq., with Shakira now stating in an interview with Spanish broadcaster RTVE that her return to Spain will see the institution of an ‘Estadio Shakira’ in Madrid.

Shakira mentioned: “Spain is reserved for the end (of the tour). I’m going to pull out all the stops in every way.”

Live Nation will reportedly assist ship the stadium mission and whereas Shakira hasn’t specified the precise variety of live shows she’ll carry out, the residency will run “for more than two days”.

She added: “It’s going to be something out of this world, a production unlike anything ever seen in Spain.”

Commenting on the Estadio Shakira plans, Borja Carabante , the delegate for Urban Planning, Environment, and Mobility at Madrid City Council, informed Europa Press: “We have no confirmation, news, or official information, but what I do know is that over the next few days, very possibly this week, you will receive official news from the developers.”
