The M80 has been closed overnight as a result of a crash with drivers dealing with rush hour diversions of 17 miles.
Emergency providers had been referred to as to the motorway round 12.25am on Thursday to stories of a collision.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the highway is closed between Junction 9 and Junction 8 at Sclandersburn Road overbridge in Denny.
Drivers are dealing with diversions of roughly 17 miles.
A Police Scotland assertion learn: “The M80 is closed in both directions between junctions 8 and 9, following a report of a road crash which we were called to around 12.25am on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
“Diversions are in place.”
