There’s loads of damp and drizzle about at London will get into the center of April, however one day this week guarantees to be heat and dry with temperatures hovering close to 20C.
It comes after a cold begin to the week in London right this moment (Monday, April 13) with temperatures at a measly 6C, however spring weather guarantees to bounce again later this afternoon – reaching a comfortable 14C by 2pm – though this shall be marred by rain showers “with a risk of hail and thunder” in keeping with the Met Office.
The outlook is much better tomorrow (Tuesday, April 14) which is anticipated to be a wonderful day with no drop of rainfall, as temperatures rise to 16C, with some intervals of sunshine.
The damp and drizzle will return nonetheless on Wednesday and Thursday, with gentle showers anticipated on each days whilst temperatures climb to 17C and 18C respectively.
Things will brighten up on Friday, April 17, as London reaches an excellent 19C and the outlook is basically dry, with only some patches of cloud and a mild breeze. Friday seems set to be peak weather – because the washout seems set to return over the weekend, with extra rain forecast subsequent Monday.
The Met Office states: “It will be a chilly start, with isolated mist and fog patches soon clearing. The clouds will bubble up to give a mixture of sunny spells and showers, locally heavy, with risk of hail and thunder, during the afternoon. Light winds are expected and it will feel warmer.
“Tomorrow sees one other vibrant and chilly begin, with remoted mist and fog patches quickly clearing. Staying dry, however turning more and more cloudy from the west, throughout the afternoon. It will really feel heat, with gentle winds
“The outlook for Wednesday to Friday is cloudy with outbreaks of rain moving east on Wednesday, and clearing overnight. Sunny spells with fewer and lighter showers are expected on Thursday, while it will be drier and brighter on Friday – feeling warmer with light winds.”
