The Keep Torfaen Tidy Spring Clean, supported by Keep Wales Tidy, will happen throughout Torfaen with occasions working from Wednesday, March 11 to Tuesday, March 24.
Volunteers are inspired to affix organised litter picks in areas together with Cwmbran and Pontypool.
Mandy Owen, councillor and government member for the surroundings at Torfaen County Borough Council, stated: “Spring Clean is an ideal instance of the Torfaen Deal in motion.
“It’s an opportunity for individuals and groups to improve their local environment using kit provided by the council and partners.”
Last 12 months’s effort resulted in 68 baggage of litter and 13 baggage of recycling being collected.
Councillor Owen stated: “Let’s see if we can beat it this year.”
