ITV’s Breaking Dad returns with seventh series

Bradley Walsh and Barney Walsh are again with a seventh series of ITV’s Breaking Dad.

The father and son duo might be heading Down Under on a six-part “epic Australian adventure”, which can see them marvel on the “vast wilderness and coastal thrills”.

Bradley, 65, mentioned: “It’s so good to be back on the road again with Barney.

“We actually do have the perfect time, however I’m not fairly certain what he has up his sleeve on this journey, which is barely worrying …

“I was looking forward to a bit of sunshine and maybe a nice barbecue, but knowing Barney, I’ll be dodging great whites or jumping out of a plane before breakfast.”

Their itinerary is way from boring, as he and Barney, 28, might be participating in “adrenaline-rushing challenges” which can push Bradley to the restrict.

Barney mentioned: “I’m excited to embark on this new adventure with my dad and get him to experience the incredible culture, local activities and landscapes of Australia.

“It’s going to be an thrilling and adrenaline-fuelled highway journey with numerous enjoyable and laughter. Australia is such an iconic vacation spot with a lot to supply – I can’t wait to see us each get caught in Down Under!”

ITV is delighted about the return of Breaking Dad – which scooped up the Best Factual Show gong at the TV Choice Awards in 2020.

Sue Murphy, Director of Factual Entertainment Commissioning at the network, said: “We’re thrilled that our very personal father and son dynamic duo are again on the highway, this time unleashing their inimitable attraction onto unsuspecting Australia, as Barney continues to push Brad method past his consolation zones.”

Breaking Dad is produced by Hungry Bear Media – owned by Daniel Baldwin, who has been married to former This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby, 45, since 2007.

And he teased that series seven of the ITV1 and ITVX programme is “probably the greatest but”.

The 51-year-old TV producer mentioned: “Bradley and Barney will not be simply again, they’re ‘outback’, because the boys drive the huge terrain of Australia.

“This series is one of the best yet. Breaking Dad brilliantly captures the messy, hilarious, and heartwarming reality of family travel. It’s a genuine reminder that the best part of any journey is who you’re sharing the driver’s seat with.”

ITV is but to verify an air date for the brand new series of Breaking Dad.
