A beloved This Morning star joined Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on ITV’s Good Morning Britain
ITV viewers have been left confused as a beloved This Morning star appeared on Good Morning Britain.
GMB hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls delivered the newest headlines from the present’s new central London studio on Monday (March 24). They have been later joined by common commentator Kevin Maguire, as effectively as a contemporary face.
English radio speak present host Tom Swarbrick, who regularly appears on This Morning’s Morning View segment, made his debut on Good Morning Britain.
At the tip of the phase, Susanna congratulated Tom, saying: “Thank you both very much indeed. Tom, a fantastic debut. [We] never would have known you only had 11 minutes sleep.”
Tom jokingly replied: “Is it still before 7 o’clock? I can’t quite believe it’s before seven o’clock.”
GMB viewers have been rapidly left confused by Tom’s look, as many are used to seeing him grace the This Morning set as a substitute.
“Is that Tom Swarbrick?” one individual requested on X (previously Twitter), with one other including: “That’s not Tom Swarbrick, is it?”
A 3rd mentioned: “Wait that’s the guy from This Morning,” with one other viewer equally sharing: “Where did they find this guy alongside Kevin?”
Meanwhile, others shared their frustrations on the hosts repeatedly “talking over” the commentators. One irritated fan wrote: “I don’t think they’ve allowed a single point to land on #gmb this morning. They’re cutting off the pundits before they can finish their points EVERY SINGLE TIME.”
Elsewhere through the phase, the celebs spoke about vet payments, forward of the Competition and Markets Authority publishing a ultimate report into the UK’s £6.3 billion veterinary companies.
Tom spoke about his pets, saying: “We have three cats, two axolotls, and now we have a very new puppy – that’s Olive.”
He went on: “The vets fees are astonishing. We lost our dog in January. I thought we could be a household without a dog for a lot longer. Turns out, we can’t – we’re a dog household.
“But the vet payments have simply gone [up], and so they do not let you know prematurely what it’s that you will be paying.”
As effectively as sharing his opinions on This Morning, Tom also presents the drivetime show on LBC radio. He was previously Head of Broadcast at Downing Street between 2016 and 2018, and was also a former advisor to Prime Minister Theresa May.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
