Helen Skelton apologises to ex partner Gorka Márquez

Last month, she spoke to The Guardian, discussing subjects from her ‘northerness’ to by chance ‘flashing’ former Prime Minister David Cameron.

Skelton, recognized for her love of the Lake District and Cumbria basically, the place she grew up, was greater than open in regards to the unlucky interplay with Mr Cameron.

She told the publication: “After the 2012 Olympics I hosted the parade. I had on a little skirt and when the prime minister came on everyone cheered. I thought: “Oh my God, they love David Cameron,” but they were cheering because my skirt had blown up, and I’d flashed my knickers at him.”

But apart from her Olympic blunder, the Morning Live presenter additionally touched on what makes her sad: “Grief. It’s one of those things you have to embrace; you grieve situations and jobs and friendships and relationships as well as people. It’s a heavy emotion.”

Back in 2022, Helen was a finalist within the twentieth sequence of Strictly Come Dancing, ending as runner-up (A repair!).

So when she was requested, ‘To whom would you most like to express regret, and why?’

She answered: “To Gorka Márquez, who was my Strictly partner, for not winning the glitterball in 2022.”

Helen then candidly moved on to what her kids imply to her and the way she needs to be remembered.

“When I’m gone, I need my kids to really feel that they had been at all times my No 1 precedence.

“I’d like to be remembered as someone who made you think that anything’s possible. I did three marathons in a day once, but walking the high-wire at Battersea Park station was the challenge I loved most because I had to master a skill. When you grow up on a farm, you literally reap what you sow.”
