Glasgow childcare charity secures 25-year lease on land as part of new nature hub

A childcare charity has secured a 25-year lease on land in Glasgow as part of a new nature mission.

The Indigo Childcare Group plans to develop a secured ‘hideaway’ space beside Castleton Primary School designed to assist kids deepen their connection to the pure world.

Covering greater than 2500 sq. metres, the land was transferred by Glasgow City Council by means of the People Make Glasgow Communities (PMGC) programme, which permits group and third-sector teams to take over council venues.

Councillor Ruairi Kelly, convener for housing, improvement and land use at Glasgow City Council, mentioned: “This is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through our PMGC programme.

“The new hideaway space is a good concept, remodeling land that had been surplus to the native faculty’s must create one thing that kids will get pleasure from and discover stimulating and I’m trying ahead to getting a glance across the hideaway when the work’s finished.

“Congratulations to all involved.”

Indigo Childcare Group, which has greater than 30 years of expertise, joins different organisations such as Park Villa Football Development and Castlemilk Community Football Trust in securing long-term leases by means of the PMGC programme.
