Four men have died after a car hit a lamp-post on Merseyside, police have stated.
The car left the highway and crashed on Liverpool Road, Huyton, simply earlier than 02:00 BST.
The men, two aged 23, and two others, aged 24 and 26 died on the scene, Merseyside Police stated.
A 27-year-old man who was a passenger contained in the car has been taken to hospital and is in a steady situation, the pressure added.
The black Seat Cupra had been travelling from Liverpool in direction of Knowsley earlier than it got here off the highway and hit the lamp-post.
Eleven roads in the realm have been closed, together with Liverpool Road and East Prescot Road, from the junction of Princess Drive and Finch Lane whereas police perform their investigations.
