Emmerdale explains huge Graham Foster twist as major Kim mystery is resolved

Emmerdale has revealed the identification of the one who poisoned Kim Tate — and it is none apart from Graham Foster. The twist was revealed to viewers throughout Wednesday’s (1 April) episode, however Kim herself stays unaware, believing she collapsed due to an unintentional overdose of her ache remedy.

Graham was seen to be making a mysterious cellphone name to an unknown individual after tampering together with her drugs cabinet, saying he must discover one other approach to eliminate her after his “double dose” failed.

Speaking in regards to the scenes, actor Andrew Scarborough, who performs Graham, stated his character nonetheless holds an enormous grudge over the actual fact Kim tried to kill him.

“Graham is clearly still incredibly angry that Kim tried to kill him six years ago,” he stated. “This resulted in him faking his own death to escape the hit she put out on him. He lost Rhona in this process, so he still hasn’t forgiven Kim for that.

“She took six years of his life away. That is why he simply tried to kill her — for revenge.”

Although Graham’s attempt on Kim’s life failed, Andrew wondered if there might be a subconscious reason for that, saying: “I’m not satisfied his entire coronary heart was in it as a result of their relationship is difficult. I feel if his entire coronary heart had been in it, he would have truly made it occur.”

Tonight, Chas Dingle was very unsettled when news spread that Kim’s collapse was due to a poisoning, and Cain Dingle and Caleb Milligan were at each other’s throats as accusations and theories quickly got out of hand. Meanwhile, Joe Tate returned from his trip to be at Kim’s bedside, but she wasn’t exactly chuffed to see him.

Graham will proceed to be on the heart of the action next week, when an unresolved plot level from the Corriedale crossover is lastly re-addressed.

The episode, which marked Graham’s surprise return, saw him let Coronation Street newcomer Jodie Ramsey go free from the back of a van he was driving.

Fans of both soaps have been waiting for answers as to why Jodie was being held captive and what Graham’s exact role in it was and it seems the latter point, at least, might finally be on the verge of being revisited.
