Emergency services descend on busy Manchester road

Emergency services stormed a busy east Manchester road following a crash. Police, paramedics and firefighters have been all referred to as out to Ashton Old Road, close to Smithfield Market, in Openshaw at round 9am this morning (April 24).

Images from the scene present at the very least two fireplace engines in attendance, alongside an ambulance response automotive and Greater Manchester Police. A pink automotive could possibly be seen with its bonnet up, near the place firefighters labored on the scene.

Traffic was blocked on the road whereas emergency services labored on the scene. GMP confirmed it was referred to as out to a collision involving two autos at round 9am.

No critical accidents have been reported following the incident and no arrests have been made, in line with the pressure. North West Ambulance Service says it was referred to as out to the scene at 9.06am.

It mentioned a person was taken to hospital for therapy following the collision, however his accidents weren’t deemed to be critical. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service was approached for additional particulars.
