National Highways are set to hold out important works within the westbound carriageway of the key route between Wednesday and Saturday.
A full carriageway closure shall be in place between junction 55 and 52 to permit the work to be carried out safely.
The work is anticipated to happen between 8pm and 6am to minimise disruption to drivers.
While the highway is closed National Highways shall be finishing up carriageway reconstruction.
The official diversion route for the closure is 55 miles lengthy and can take drivers alongside the A1071, A134 and again onto the A14.
