Dominik Szoboszlai has received Liverpool’s Standard Chartered Men’s Player of the Month award for the fifth time this season.
A ballot of supporters on Liverpoolfc.com resulted in the Hungarian receiving March’s prize.
He claimed practically two-thirds of the vote, forward of teammates Mohamed Salah and Milos Kerkez in second and third locations respectively.
Szoboszlai performed each minute of the Reds’ six matches in the month – both as a midfielder or right-back – and obtained on the scoresheet in two of them.
Against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield, the No.8 netted his fourth direct free-kick of the Premier League marketing campaign, the most of any Red ever in a single time period in the competitors.
He adopted that up just a few days later with a well-taken end from a nook to assist Arne Slot’s aspect overcome Galatasaray in the Champions League.
