Crayola Studios, a division of Crayola devoted to creating content material throughout a number of genres, is partnering with two-time Academy Award® winner Geena Davis and the Bentonville Film Festival on a brand new program to determine and develop authentic youngsters’ content material.
Selected finalists will likely be invited to current their concepts reside on the annual pageant, which will likely be held June 15-21. Finalists will pitch to a panel of trade professionals, together with executives from Crayola Studios and Walmart.
“BFF has always been about providing opportunities for emerging storytellers to have their voices heard,” stated Davis, who chairs BFF. “Kids’ content wields a powerful influence on the imagination of a child as well as shaping how they see themselves; their possibilities and the world around them. Partnering with Crayola Studios — a brand that has deeply inspired creativity in children for generations – is an incredible opportunity to discover new talent. We’re excited to welcome the finalists to BFF and help bring their stories to life.”
One idea will likely be chosen for additional improvement with Crayola Studios. The winner will be a part of a rising slate of titles from Crayola, together with Pablo Next Level, Rainbow Brite and The Neverending Pillow Fort.
Submissions are open now. Content creators and artistic builders are requested to submit a one-page elevator pitch outlining their idea, supposed viewers and alignment with the Crayola Studios model.
“We are looking for bold, original ideas that unleash the power of creativity one colorful story at a time,” stated Sabrina Wiewel, head of Crayola Studios.
