Cinemagoers in Peterborough will be urged to switch off their mobiles tonight to enjoy distraction-free movie time.
Staff on the Odeon Luxe cinema in the Queensgate Shopping Centre are internet hosting their first Offline Movie Night designed to encourage individuals to chat to one another and watch a movie with out trying and even utilizing their cellphones.
From 6.30pm tonight (March 27), visitors will arrive for a curated, phone-free night that Odeon employees say is geared toward encouraging connection and presence.
The expertise contains time to socialise and seize a chew to eat earlier than the screening, adopted by a device-free screening of acclaimed sci-fi epic Project Hail Mary.
