Crime 101, the acclaimed crime thriller starring Chris Hemsworth and Barry Keoghan, is now streaming within the UK following its launch in cinemas in February. With a stacked supporting forged together with Halle Berry and Mark Ruffalo, this one is for lovers of the heist style.
The film, from writer-director Bart Layton, is predicated on Don Winslow’s 2020 novella of the identical title, and sees Hemsworth painting a career Los Angeles jewel thief.
Despite barely leaving a hint on the scene, a weary detective (performed by Ruffalo) notices {that a} slew of robberies have taken place near the 101 freeway. When one job goes incorrect, the partitions start to shut in on the thief.

Released in cinemas in January and February within the UK and US, the crime thriller is now out there to stream on Prime Video. As an Amazon MGM Studios property, it was at all times more likely to stream sooner than common.
In the movie, Keoghan portrays a hot-headed biker who vows to destroy Hemsworth’s character. Monica Barbaro performs a love curiosity of the thief, whereas Berry stars as a disgruntled insurance coverage dealer.
Crime 101 was lauded by critics, who reserved specific reward for Layton’s route. On Rotten Tomatoes, the crime thriller has a formidable approval ranking of 89% from 185 evaluations.

“It’s pacy and slick. And as you would hope from a film that makes a point of namechecking the Steve McQueen car chase classic Bullitt, the asphalt of LA’s downtown highways takes some serious punishment,” wrote The Observer.

“This is a special movie. It has a life force unlike any other crime thriller I’ve seen. It’s about characters who suffer a personal failure but emerge transformed,” famous RogerEbert.com, whereas Mashable known as it “slick and successful”.
Time Out echoed these sentiments, opining: “It’s refreshing to see a grown-up big-screen thriller this well crafted – and one that cares for its grounded characters and their predicaments. If it comes off the road once or twice, it’s still well worth the ride.”
