An 11-year-old woman who was kidnapped in California in 2020 was found safe in North Carolina, based on the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies have been notified on Monday by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services that the kid, who had been kidnapped on June 2, 2020, is likely to be in North Carolina.
Authorities decided the kid was enrolled in Washington County Schools underneath an alias. After coordinating with a number of businesses in North Carolina and California, deputies situated the kid and took her into protecting custody.
