Bristol’s two sex shops are a ‘great credit’ to the city, selling good sexual well being and variety, councillors stated as they unanimously approved renewing their annual licences.

“I run my business in a good manner.

“We don’t really get teenagers coming into the shop – I can’t remember the last time that happened – but if I think somebody is underage, I just march them out of the shop.”

Mr Mullens added: “Our customers are very diverse and include gay and straight couples and transgender who are mostly over 30 years old.”
