Episodes one and two of the primary collection are attributable to air on BBC Two later at 21:00 and 21:45 BST.
Executive producer Brian Constantine stated it was “fantastic” to see Bergerac reaching a wider viewers.
“It’s a great position within the BBC schedule and reflects the strength of the series and the hard work of everyone involved,” he stated.
“As international sales continue to grow around the world, it’s clear the show is finding audiences well beyond Jersey.”
He added it would not have been potential with out the assist of islanders, its authorities and the vacationer board.
