Images of the new penguin facility at Yorkshire Wildlife Park have been launched
Award-winning Yorkshire Wildlife Park has launched the first images of its exciting new penguin facility.
The park teased CGI-images of what the enclosure will seem like this summer season to mark World Penguin Day tomorrow, twenty fifth April.
The growth is adjoining to Point Lobos, house to the Californian Sea Lions, and can create a serious aquatic animal space for guests to take pleasure in.
YWP CEO, John Minion, stated: “We are very excited about bringing penguins to the park as part of an international conservation programme. They are hugely popular too.“
Construction is already underway and we can’t wait for it to open in the summer months
.“We expect the penguins will become a firm favourite with our visitors as many have requested them at the park, and our staff are also extremely excited to work with them.”
The park is famous for its large-scale reserves, including Lion Country, Leopard Heights, and the Land of the Tiger.
Mr Minion added: “More details of this major animal development will be released in due course.“So keep your eyes peeled for updates!”
Yorkshire Wildlife Park, which puts conservation at the heart of all its activities, offers visitors a mesmerising walk-through experience, coming almost face to face with some of the world’s most beautiful and at-risk species, including Polar Bears, Black Rhinos, Giraffes and African Painted Dogs.
