Gü Indulgent Foods is recalling Gü Blonde Chocolate Cheesecake as a result of it has been mispacked with a cheesecake that comprises hazelnuts. Gü products are bought in supermarkets throughout the UK, together with Asda.

The potential presence of hazelnuts makes it a possible health risk for anybody with an allergy to hazelnuts. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) mentioned: “If you’ve got purchased the product and have an allergy to hazelnuts (nuts) don’t eat it.

Gü Indulgent Foods has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the product recall.
Farmfoods
Farmfoods is recalling Ritz Cheese Sandwich product because it contains milk, soya and wheat (gluten), which are not emphasised on the label. This recall only affects products originating from Indonesia, and does not affect products originating from other countries.

The Food Standards Agency mentioned: “If you’ve got purchased this product, and have an allergy or intolerance to any of the allergens listed, don’t eat it. The components not marked clearly means the product is a “health risk” to these with an allergy or intolerance to milk, an allergy to soya or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or with coeliac illness.
Argos
A number of retailers are recalling models of Tower air fryers. Affected products were manufactured between January 2022 and April 2023. The products have been sold by retailers including Argos, B&M Bargains, DID, Poundland, Robert Dyas, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and the Tower Housewares website.
The product presents a risk of fire as it can overheat and ignite during use. It does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
