Anthea Turner and her fiance have delayed their wedding but once more – now due to residence renovations.
The TV presenter, 65, and businessman Mark Armstrong, 59, beforehand postponed their nuptials because of the loss of life of their mothers and the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, after they received engaged in Rome, Italy, in September 2019 following a two-month romance.
Anthea instructed the brand new situation of Woman’s Own journal: “We need to sort it out, and we absolutely will, but we’ve got a lounge renovation that’s just about starting.
“We’re not collectively as a result of we need to breed or as a result of it is the one approach we will purchase a home. We’re collectively as a result of he’s my go-to, he is my finest pal, he is my all the things.
“I can’t think of anybody I would prefer to be snuggling up to at night. I am truly blessed that we found each other.”
The couple “feel married” as a result of they’ve been collectively for nearly seven years.
Anthea added: “Although it would be nice to get married someday, it’s not our priority – but it will happen someday!”
The former Blue Peter presenter and Mark deliberate to get hitched in Rome, Italy, in 2020, however she lately confirmed their special occasion will happen “in the UK”.
Speaking to Bella journal in May, Anthea shared: “We haven’t sorted out the wedding – we have to get our act together.
“I do not need the faff of organising something overseas, so it is going to be within the UK.
“God knows how many bridesmaids I’m going to have!”
Despite their large day having confronted a number of setbacks, the GMTV alum and Mark stay “very connected”, and Anthea cherishes their relationship.
In June 2025, she added to Woman’s Weekly journal: “I am never lonely with Mark, even if he’s not in. We are very connected.
“I cherish our relationship and my life, most likely as a result of I realise I’ve received extra air miles behind me than I’ve in entrance. I really feel very grateful.”
Anthea – who has made Mark “more healthy” since they met – was first married to former BBC Radio 1 DJ Peter Powell, 75, and they were married from 1990 until 1998.
The former Top of the Pops presenter was then married to TV personality Grant Bovey, 65, from 2000 until 2015.
Anthea became a stepmother to Grant’s three daughters – Lily, 33, Amelia, 32, and Claudia, 29 – when the pair got married in 2000, and despite her separation from their dad, she is still actively involved in their lives, and they share a special bond.
Anthea and Grant initially break up in 2012 because of his infidelity, and after reconciling, they break up for good in 2013 and had been legally separated in 2015.
