ANT and Dec have slammed “bully” boxer David Haye for laying into actor Adam Thomas on I’m A Celeb.
The Geordie duo hit out at him days after he was branded “sexist” for comments about “ugly birds”.
David, 45, has sparked outrage with viewers claiming his banter with Adam, 37, in the I’m A Celeb South Africa camp has change into bullying.
Ant instructed the ITV1 show’s podcast I’m A Celebrity . . . Unpacked: “It’s not a pleasant watch. He simply sort of picks and picks at them.
“Adam has had a bit of a tough time and he’s not coping properly.
“Clearly the banter has got too much. But David won’t stop.”
Dec agreed: “It’s kind of crossed the line from banter. I don’t find it comfortable to watch.”
Adam — who has autoimmune sickness psoriatic arthritis — refused to do a Bushtucker Trial on Friday as he felt unwell and dehydrated.
David stated after: “Who gives a s**t if he doesn’t really feel properly. He’s a grown-ass man.
“I don’t like guys who are . . . a bit useless. I hate them useless guys.”
Tonight Adam took to social media to have his say on the feud with David – revealing the boxer has since apologised.
But the Emmerdale star confessed David’s actions made him really feel “broken” throughout their time in the jungle.
Adam wrote: “My time in I’m a Celebrity South Africa was one of many hardest issues I’ve ever been by means of, bodily, mentally, and emotionally.
“Watching it again hasn’t been straightforward in any respect. There have been moments I felt pushed to my absolute restrict, and if I’m trustworthy, occasions I didn’t even recognise myself.
“Living with arthritis is something I don’t really talk about, as much as I should do…but in there it really took its toll.”
He added: “My greatest combat was pretending to placed on a courageous face and making an attempt to cover the ache! that may be exhausting inside itself. There have been days my physique simply didn’t wish to maintain going, however I did.
“[David] broke me in there, he pushed me to my limits, and I’ve told David this and he’s apologised and that’s that! I’ve moved on now, am not one to hold a grudge.”
David prompted fury final week by saying his associate Sian Osborne had the “personality of an ugly bird”.
