A stretch of the A27 has been closed both ways after a crash involving a “rolled over” van.
The A27 is closed both ways from the Emsworth Junction to the Fishbourne Roundabout with drivers being delayed as much as the A3(M) following the incident close to Fishbourne, reported shortly earlier than 6am.
AA Traffic News stated: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to rolled over van on A27 both ways between A259 Havant Road (Emsworth Junction) and A259 Cathedral Way (Fishbourne Roundabout).
“Congestion to the A3(M) at Portsmouth, and back to the Stockbridge Roundabout on the Chichester Bypass.”
The AA added: “Severe delays of 15 minutes and delays easing on A27 Eastbound between A3(M) J5 (Bedhampton / Havant / Farlington) and A259 Havant Road (Emsworth Junction). Average speed five mph.”
