This New London Overground Line Just Got One Step Closer
A ‘new’ London Overground line for West London has moved a step nearer, now a funding deal has been agreed.
The line, at the moment generally known as the West London Orbital, would hyperlink Hendon and Hounslow, providing ten new interchanges with National Rail and Tube hyperlinks, and the creation of 4 new stations.
As of early March 2026, TfL, the London Boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Ealing and Hounslow, and the Old Oak & Park Royal Development Corporation have collectively agreed to commit “up to £6.65m” to maneuver the venture into the subsequent part.
