4 Italian airports face jet fuel restrictions – POLITICO

Four Italian airports are being warned that they might face jet fuel restrictions amid restricted provides from a key supplier.

An aviation notice issued Saturday mentioned that (*4*) The affected airports are Bologna, Milan Linate, Treviso and Venice.

Italian information company ANSA reported that Air BP Italia — a subsidiary of British oil big BP — instructed airways that precedence could be given to ambulance and state flights, in addition to flights lasting greater than three hours. Other flights could face restrictions till a minimum of April 9.
