Scotland: Fiji to play ‘home’ Nations Championship game at Murrayfield

Fiji Rugby Union chief government Koli Sewabu instructed the Scottish Rugby web site: “Although our match against Scotland won’t be played in Fiji, we’re determined to make it feel every bit like a home game.

“Fans can count on a vibrant, festival-like environment, a real celebration of Fijian rugby tradition each on and off the pitch.

“It’s also a great opportunity to raise the profile of Fijian rugby, showcase our culture, and connect with our diaspora and fans from the Northern Hemisphere.

“The success of those fixtures will allow us to make investments extra into grassroots rugby supporting the continued progress and success of the workforce.”

Fiji recorded their first win over Scotland since 2017, by 29-14, in a house game in Suva in July, however the Scots prevailed 57-17 on Fiji’s final go to to Murrayfield the earlier 12 months.
