Food and drink businesses urged to sign up to Taste of Northumberland

Northumberland’s greatest meals, drink and hospitality businesses are being urged to assist form and strengthen the county’s repute as a vacation spot for distinctive native produce.

The Taste of Northumberland initiative, launching on March 24, will deliver collectively native producers, retailers and meals lovers to have a good time the standard, variety and provenance of Northumberland’s meals story.

Taste of Northumberland is designed to unite businesses below one trusted regional mark; a platform showcasing Northumberland’s best merchandise to retailers, patrons and shoppers.

A rising and numerous quantity of native businesses have already signed up to the programme together with: Turnbull’s Northumbrian Food Hall, First & Last Brewery, The Good Life Shop Limited, Belford Village Shop & Deli, Northumberland National Park, The Angel of Corbridge, Borderland Food Tours, The Proof of the Pudding, Northumbrian Cider & Wine Company Ltd, Alnwick Brewery, The Cheese Room at Alnwick Deli, Bailiffgate Hotel, Blackfriars Restaurant, Dobson & Parnell, Ad Gefrin, The Alnwick Garden and Northumbrian Gifts.

It replaces the earlier Produced in Northumberland scheme, constructing on it with a clearer model, wider eligibility and stronger promotion of native meals and drink.
