DENVER (AP) — All-Star guard Jamal Murray left the Denver Nuggets’ sport against the New York Knicks just before halftime after injuring his left ankle Friday evening.
Murray took the contact from a driving OG Anunoby in the lane and stepped again on teammate and fellow All-Star Nikola Jokic’s proper foot.

Murray fell to the flooring in ache, grabbing his left ankle. He was helped to the locker room by teammate Jonas Valanciunas, grimacing as he hobbled off the court docket with 1:05 left.
During the stoppage, Knicks coach Mike Brown challenged the name on the court docket of an Anunoby cost. The problem was profitable, so Murray was assessed the blocking foul and Anunoby sank each free throws, giving the Knicks a 65-42 halftime lead.
There was no fast phrase on the severity of Murray’s injury.
Murray was an All-Star this season for the first time in his nine-year profession.
He received damage on the evening the Nuggets had their authentic beginning lineup on the court docket for the first time since Nov. 12 as Aaron Gordon (hamstring) returned from a lengthy absence and Cam Johnson got here again from a sprained proper ankle.
