United States stock markets will likely be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday, the day when those that observe the Christian religion commemorate the crucifixion and loss of life of Jesus Christ.
The Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange will likely be closed on Friday and reopen on Monday, April 6. The U.S. bond market will shut at midday ET Friday, based on the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association.
After shuttering for Good Friday, will probably be enterprise as standard on Wall Street till late May. The subsequent scheduled stock market closure is on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

Markets will likely be closed for the following holidays in 2026:
- Good Friday: Friday, April 3
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 25
- Juneteenth: Friday, June 19
- Independence Day: Friday, July 3
- Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 7
- Thanksgiving: Thursday, Nov. 26 (markets may also shut at 1 p.m. ET on Nov. 25)
- Christmas: Friday, Dec. 25 (markets may also shut at 1 p.m. ET on Dec. 24)
