Crossing guard assaulted in Darby Borough; police searching for suspect

DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) — Police in Darby Borough are investigating what they describe as a “deeply concerning” assault on a crossing guard.

The incident occurred simply earlier than 4 p.m. Monday on the intersection of South sixth and Walnut streets. Police confirmed the crossing guard was assaulted however haven’t launched particulars in regards to the guard’s situation or the circumstances surrounding the assault.
