Rylan Clark and Emma Willis have addressed the rumours surrounding Strictly Come Dancing, as they’re tipped to be the next presenters.

This comes after Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly introduced they have been stepping down, with final 12 months’s Christmas particular turning into their final time as hosts on Strictly.

Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins had requested them: “Rylan and Emma are here on This Morning at 10, good morning to both of you. We’ve been talking about you two this morning, because we hear you’re both in the frame for the Strictly draw? Have you got anything to tell us?”
Rylan was fast to disclaim the rumours, whereas Emma hesitated earlier than confirming: “Ahh… no!”

The Big Brother icon, who’s already juggling her ITV duties with The Great British Bake Off and new Channel 4 collection Your Song, confirmed to Radio Times that Strictly bosses had approached her.
She laughed: “You didn’t expect that answer, did you? I can’t lie, I’m incapable.”
She then stated: “I’m so busy, babes, that I’m not sure it’s going to happen.
“It’s unrealistic. I’m so happy they considered me but, like Traitors, I can’t do it because everything clashes.”
She continued: “I would have loved to have done it – anybody that gets it, they’re going to land the perfect job. But I’m so happy with everything I’ve got. What would I drop, to do Strictly?”
Tess and Claudia introduced they have been quitting Strictly final 12 months, saying their time on the present had been “an absolute dream” but it surely “feels like the right time” to go away.
They wrote: “We have loved working as a duo and hosting Strictly has been an absolute dream. We were always going to leave together and now feels like the right time.
“We will have the greatest rest of this amazing series and we just want to say an enormous thank you to the BBC and to every single person who works on the show. They’re the most brilliant team and we’ll miss them every day.
“We will cry when we say the last “keep dancing” however we’ll proceed to say it to one another. Just probably in tracksuit bottoms at dwelling whereas holding some pizza.”
