“And then the contestants themselves, it was beautiful to meet them and see how they then progress via the time and their time spent within the completely different cities.”

He continued: “It’s actually difficult as a result of a few of them are good and so they make errors and it units them again. They fall behind, after which it’s extremely form of nip and tuck, edge to edge stuff. I’ve actually, actually loved it. It was nice watching them.”

This week, the teams land in Lisbon to take on the Dark Destroyer and the Sinnerman, who have set a series of quiz questions that the teams must solve to navigate across the city and meet Walsh at the finish line.

“I am unable to give an excessive amount of away however Lisbon was a fantastic, nice episode,” Walsh said. “I actually liked it, and I’m positive the followers of the present and common viewers will get into it. This series is certainly a thrilling one, providing exciting venues for the quiz games, such as Tibidabo theme park and football stadiums in Barcelona. As the series progresses, the more audiences will get to know the teams. These consist of sisters Kati and Amy who are super competitive, and will be tough to beat, as well as father and son duo David and Steven who are emerging as serious contenders.

Also don’t underestimate the “energy of blonde”. People keep underestimating them, but Nikita and Ashwin always seem to do enough to survive and beat the Chasers in Rome.

But wrong answers can have consequences, and one slip up can be the difference between safety and facing the Chasers, as we’ve seen with strong teams like Emily and Dilan.

Walsh told Radio Times: “What’s sensible in regards to the present, although, at that time is that they arrive throughout the end line, then they’ve a fast look round to see who else is there, after which you may see the sigh of reduction on their face after they see that they don’t seem to be the final pair via, and in order that’s actually good to watch. That’s actually good to see their faces coming via, and so they realise, ‘Oh wow, we have not obtained to face the Chasers, which is so cool for me.”
