Both terminals at Gatwick Airport are being affected by a water supply concern, with bathrooms reported to be out of order and eating places closed.
In a press release on X, the airport in West Sussex apologised for the disruption, external and stated a problem within the Horley space was affecting provides and was underneath investigation.
Bottled water is being made obtainable to passengers and workers and contingency measures have additionally been put in place, it stated.
SES Water, which covers components of Kent, Surrey and south London, in addition to the airport, stated it was working to revive regular service.
A spokesperson for the water firm stated: “Due to a number of complications caused by a power outage at our Bough Beech Water Treatment Works, some customers are experiencing low water pressure or a temporary loss of supply.
“We are working to beat these issues and return the therapy works to supply as rapidly as we will.”
She confirmed Gatwick Airport was affected, adding: “We are working with them whereas our groups work to revive regular service as rapidly as attainable.”
