Masked Singer star Joel Dommett is about to host a gala event in Corby elevating cash for Bemorefab Children’s Cancer Charity.
Bemorefab was arrange by Florence Bark and her household after she was identified with a uncommon and aggressive type of most cancers when she was simply 5.
Still needing fixed medical care, she retains smiling and spreading pleasure in all places she goes together with her motto, ‘Be More Fab’.
Florence, now 9, first met Joel on the Pride of Britain Awards 2024 and was later a visitor on This Morning – describing her as ‘one of the most inspirational people he’d ever met’.


Florence’s dad, Andrew Bark, Bemorefab Children’s Cancer Charity founder, mentioned: “This event is about bringing people together to create something positive so we can continue supporting children who are going through the hardest time imaginable.
“Funds raised from the gala will go directly towards Bemorefab’s work supporting children and families affected by cancer through education support, well-being activities and family programmes designed to help young people maintain confidence, connection and routine during incredibly difficult times.”
The Have Happy Days Gala on Thursday, March 26 at The Holiday Inn, Corby, beginning at 6.30pm, will function leisure from Joel, alongside performances from Jay & Joss the Magicians and different native performers.
Businesses, supporters and members of the community will join together for the evening dedicated to improving the lives of children facing cancer.
BeMoreFab Childrens Cancer Charity supports children with cancer and their families in Northamptonshire through practical aid, educational tutoring and community connection to prevent isolation.
Andrew mentioned: “It will be a fantastic night of entertainment, dining and dancing whilst raising vital funds.
“The support we have received from local businesses, volunteers and the wider community has been incredible. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without them.
“We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported the event through sponsorship, donations, prizes and volunteering their time.”
