Adorning the toes of Sabastian Sawe as he powered his approach to a sub-2 hour marathon and new world file at the 2026 London Marathon, that is the lightest racing shoe from Adidas ever, weighing in at a mean of simply over 97 grams.

Stephan Scholten, adidas’ VP of product stated, “Our goal was two digits on the scale, with better performance than we’ve ever had.” The shoe has been made with next-generation Lightstrile Pro Evo foam, the model’s lightest and most responsive foam to date, and almost 50% lighter than earlier variations of the shoe.
The design of the higher was impressed by kitesurfing sails, with a weightless really feel that also gives the mandatory help. The strategically positioned Continental rubber in the forefoot gives the traction you want when working at quick pace, with out compromising on weight.
