Nottingham Forest news: Murillo likely to miss Aston Villa Europa League semi-final

Defender Murillo is predicted to miss Nottingham Forest’s Europa League semi-final first leg towards Aston Villa.

The centre-back limped off with an obvious hamstring damage within the first half of Sunday’s 4-1 win over Burnley and is sidelined for Friday’s Premier League journey to Sunderland.

He can be anticipated to miss the primary sport with Villa on the City Ground subsequent Thursday, Forest’s first European semi-final in 42 years.

“He is out [of the Sunderland game],” head coach Vitor Pereira stated on Thursday. “We will see. It is a muscle injury.

“I’m not a physician, I can not predict, however he can be out tomorrow. I feel it is going to be a couple of sport.”

It adds to Forest’s woes after Callum Hudson-Odoi was ruled out for the rest of the season.
