The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert announced in July 2025 that his late-night talk show was canceled after 10 seasons — and that, unlike when he took over for David Letterman in 2015, he was not going to be replaced.

“It’s not just the end of our show, but it’s the end of The Late Show on CBS,” he told his audience. “This is all just going away. And I do want to say that the folks at CBS have been great partners.”

CBS shared in a statement that the decision was financial and “not related in any way to the show’s performance.” The final episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will air on May 21.

The Neighborhood

After a seven-year run, Variety confirmed The Neighborhood‘s eighth season would be its last.

Reisenbach said in a March 2025 statement that the comedy, which starred Cedric the Entertainer and Max Greenfield, “brought levity, laughter, and poignant storylines” to its audience.

“We believe the show’s loyal fans deserve a proper farewell season full of the trademark humor and heartfelt moments that are synonymous with the series,” she stated.

The series finale of The Neighborhood will air on May 11.

Watson

During a press event revealing CBS’s fall 2026-27 schedule, the network announced that Watson and DMV had been canceled.

Deadline reported that Reisenbach described the drama — which reimagined the detective as a physician fixing medical mysteries —as “a pleasure to work on.”
