PLAINFIELD, Ind. — Plainfield police are searching for the suspect within the robbery of a bank Tuesday.
The incident was reported shortly after 2 p.m. April 21 on the Chase Bank on Southfield Drive, close to Quaker Boulevard and Stafford Road.
The Plainfield Police Department mentioned responding officers rapidly secured the scene, and no accidents had been reported to bank workers or patrons.
“The suspect is not in custody and fled prior to the arrival of first responders,” the division mentioned in a social media post. “Plainfield Police detectives are actively working the case. To protect the integrity of the investigation, no additional details are being released.”
The division mentioned there isn’t any ongoing menace to the general public in reference to the incident.
