Dale E. Stolldorf Sr. – The Woodstock Independent

Dale E. Stolldorf Sr., a tough working and loving household man, handed away on March seventeenth, 2026 in his granddaughter Jessica’s dwelling, surrounded by family members and laughter.

Dale devoted 45 years of his life to the Eagle Food Chain, the place he was admired for his unwavering work ethic and regular presence. Before starting his lengthy profession, he proudly served within the United States Army from 1960 to 1962.

Dale was additionally well-known within the Woodstock group because the co-proprietor of Wayne’s Lanes, the place he loved years of friendship, laughter, and reference to those that walked by its doorways. 

Dale spent his retirement years in Lake Egypt, Illinois for over 25 years and took annual journeys to Gulf Shores, Alabama. He beloved the sunrises and having fun with a black cup of espresso on his porch. 

He was preceded in loss of life by his spouse, Judy—whom he lovingly known as the “best ever wife”—in addition to his son, Dale Jr., and his brothers, John and Dennis.

Dale is survived by his daughter, Kristine; his grandchildren Cheryl Stolldorf, Jessica Kittle, Ryan Linhart, James Horton, and Jordan Trower; and his nice‑grandchildren Damian and Deric Kittle. His household will bear in mind him for his quiet energy, his loyalty, and the deep cussed love he carried for every of them.

Dale’s legacy lives on within the generations who comply with him, and he will likely be deeply missed by all who knew him.
