Barry Manilow’s Portland live performance has been postponed due to the 82-year-old singer’s well being.
The show scheduled for April 19 at Cross Insurance Arena – and all of Manilow’s April concert events – are being rescheduled because of a health care provider’s orders, the venue introduced Thursday.
In December, a stage-one cancerous tumor was found on Manilow’s left lung and he later had surgical procedure to have it eliminated.
The show is being rescheduled and all tickets bought to date will probably be honored for the brand new date. Manilow, who had many huge radio hits within the Nineteen Seventies and ’80s, was about to begin a farewell tour. The show at Cross Insurance Arena had been billed as “The Last Portland Concert.”
